Simar Singh is the founder of Digital 6ix, a Toronto-based SEO, GEO and content marketing agency. He helps businesses get found, cited and described accurately in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews.
In his words
For 20 years, “SEO” meant one thing: ranking on Google. In 2026, your customers find you through ChatGPT, a Reddit thread, a TikTok, or a Google AI Overview. And when AI answers, it names one or two businesses. The search ends there.
Rankings without mentions are becoming decorative.
That’s the work at Digital 6ix. We lead with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): the craft of being the business AI engines name. SEO, social and web ride behind it, feeding the same goal.
