1. About this policy
Digital 6ix (“Digital 6ix”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at digital6ix.ca (the “Site”). We are a digital marketing agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It is written to meet our obligations under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
This policy covers the Site only. Personal information we handle on behalf of clients as part of a service engagement is governed by our agreement with that client. In those cases we act as a service provider, and the client remains accountable for that information.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact and lead forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, website URL, service interest or budget, and anything else you choose to type into a message field.
- Newsletter signup: email address, and optionally your name.
- Booking a call: name, email address, phone number, time zone, and any notes you add when scheduling a meeting through Calendly.
- Direct correspondence: anything you send us by email, phone, or social media.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Referring URL and exit pages
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, and form interactions
- Date and time of visit
- Cookie and device identifiers
2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect payment card information through the Site. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health information, government identifiers, or financial account details. Please do not include sensitive information in free-text form fields.
3. Why we collect it
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry and provide a quote or proposal
- To schedule and hold consultation calls
- To send you marketing emails, newsletters, and offers where you have consented
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site
- To measure the performance of our marketing, including which channels and campaigns produce inquiries
- To deliver and measure advertising on third-party platforms
- To meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Consent
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where PIPEDA permits or requires otherwise.
- Express consent: you give this when you check a subscription box, submit a form, or book a call.
- Implied consent: in limited cases, such as when you send us a business inquiry and it is reasonable that we will reply using the contact details you provided.
You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you. To withdraw consent, contact us using the details in Section 14.
5. Marketing email and CASL
We send commercial electronic messages only where we have your express or implied consent under CASL.
- Newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in. You will receive a confirmation email and must click the link in it before you are added to our list.
- Every commercial email we send identifies Digital 6ix, includes our mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe link.
- Unsubscribe requests are actioned within 10 business days, and normally immediately.
- We keep records of consent, including date, time, and source, as required by CASL.
Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional or service messages related to an active engagement or an inquiry you initiated.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. These fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function, including security, form submission, and caching.
- Performance and analytics: Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, which tells us how visitors find and use the Site.
- Advertising and measurement: the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which let us measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and through the cookie banner on the Site where available. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions.
Additional opt-out options:
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences
- LinkedIn ad preferences: linkedin.com/psettings/advertising
- Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada: youradchoices.ca/choices
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where our providers support it. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for them.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, hardened hosting, and reCAPTCHA and double opt-in on our forms to limit abuse.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information to us at your own risk.
