Show us one piece of work. That is the application.
No cover letter. No three-years-experience filter. Point us at one thing you made and tell us what you would change about it now. If it is good, we will read everything else afterwards.
Two meetings a week. The rest is written.
Two video calls a week. Nothing else is scheduled. If it can be a ClickUp comment, it is one.
Every task, brief and handoff. If it is not in there it is not happening, which also means nothing lives in your head.
Fully remote, contract basis. We care when your work lands, not which timezone it left from.
Per hour, set per role and published on each role below, so neither of us wastes a month finding out.
Three seats, open now.
Run an audit end to end, implement the schema, and build the client deliverable without a second pair of eyes on every cell. Our whole framework is published, so you can read the job before you apply to it.
Bring: one page or site you improved, with the before and after, and the Search Console or analytics window the numbers came from.
Own the channels for us and for client accounts, including festival and event work where the calendar is set by someone else and does not move. Planning, production and the reporting that proves it worked.
Bring: one account you grew, and the number it started at. We are more interested in a small account you took somewhere than a large one you inherited.
New business. Finding the companies whose search problem we are actually good at solving, and opening the conversation. You will be selling a method that is published in full, which is easier and harder than selling a black box.
Bring: pick a company you think should be a Digital 6ix client and write the outreach email you would send them. That is your portfolio piece.
If your strongest work is under NDA, describe it without naming the client and send something public instead, even a side project. We would rather see the thinking than nothing.
Portfolio first. Everything else after.
A link, a screenshot, a deck, an email you wrote. One is enough. Add a short paragraph on what you would change about it now, because that paragraph is the actual test. Anyone can show a win. Fewer people can tell you what was wrong with it.
Within 7 days, yes or no. A person reads it, not a screening tool. If it is a no, you get a reason, not a template.
Roughly 45 minutes, with Simar. We go through the thing you sent. What you decided, what you got wrong, what you would do differently. No puzzles, no culture questions, no asking where you see yourself in five years.
Around 15 hours on a live account, paid at your role rate, from 28 CAD an hour, whether or not we go ahead. You get a written brief and the standard it will be marked against, before you start. You find out how we brief and whether the systems actually hold up. We find out how you deliver. Nobody works free as an audition here.
Rate, scope and start date. We aim to go from your first email to an offer within 28 days, trial included.
The systems do the remembering, so you do not have to.
Audit, content plan, AI visibility tracker, link building. All five are published free on this site. You are never inventing the format at the start of a job, you are doing the work.
Two calls a week and everything else in ClickUp. That is not a policy about focus time, it is just what happens when the workflow is written down properly.
The design system, the data rules, what counts as done. You get told the standard on day one instead of discovering it in round four of revisions.
- → This is organised, not slow. Client deadlines are set by other people. Festival dates and product launches do not move for us.
- → We check numbers before we publish them. If you dislike being asked where a figure came from, this will be uncomfortable.
- → Push back on the work. If a request would make the output worse, say so. That is expected, not tolerated.
- → Contract, not employment. You invoice us, you handle your own taxes, and you are free to have other clients.
Send the work, not the cover letter.
One link. One paragraph on what you would change about it. Role name in the subject line. That is the whole application.
Send your work →All three roles are existing openings. Digital 6ix is an equal opportunity employer. If you need any part of this process adjusted, say so in your email and we will.
